I’ll admit I’m not all that fond of the name beaver, especially since there is no longer any hair on mine to really warrant it being called a beaver (See challenge #3 for that story.) Beaver just isn’t all that cute even though beavers themselves are. I like cute names when referring to my nether regions. Words like “clam” make me cringe. Want to know what it takes to be a Chick Magnet? Follow these easy steps!

1. Confidence, confidence, confidence!
You won’t magnetize any chicks if you don’t believe in yourself. Look in the mirror every morning and tell yourself, “I am a Chick Magnet.” You’re well on your way!

2. Look chicks in the eye when you talk to them.
Ask them questions. Nod a lot. This shows the chick that you are interested in what she’s saying. What chick doesn’t like that?

3. Be nice to the chicks…but not too nice
Be nice enough to make them like you, but not so nice they think you’re completely devoted. Chicks want what’s rare and what they can’t have. If you are always available then your magnet will act more like a repellent.

4. Keep a little mystery
Chicks want to figure you out, don’t let them. Keep them on their toes by revealing things about yourself little by little. Keep the focus on them (chicks love talking about themselves) and they’ll realize they don’t know much about you…and they’ll want to.

5. Dress the part
If you don’t look good like a chick magnet, you won’t become one. Take Derek Holland a pitcher for the Texas Rangers for example, who recently picked up the perfect attire to pick up chicks.
