Last week we were excited to see Sexy Slang featured in a Fox News story and License! announce our major new licensing deal with MjC International Group for pajamas, loungewear and boxers.

Jenny Block wrote for Fox that Sexy Slang is game that gets everyone in the mood:

A couple of days later, License! magazine announced Sexy Slang’s major new licensing deal with MjC International Group.

We here at Sexy Slang have seen hundreds of Picasso’s paintings over the years, but none quite like “La Douleur,” currently on exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the 1st time since it was acquired in 1982.

Here’s what New York says about “La Douleur,” a painting “disowned” by Picasso:

From 1903, when he was 22, there’s the almost barbaric, unexpectedly graphic Erotic Scene, the painting that’s usually called La Douleur. We see Picasso lifting his head to watch us watch him being fellated by a long-haired, faceless woman. In this nearly pre-lingual thing, the female figure is nothing but gangrenous curves, an inhuman animalistic being bowed before the would-be silverback male. The Met curator Gary Tinterow maintains that the picture lacks “quality” and “erotic intensity,” but I don’t agree. La Douleur pulsates with primitive psychic power and visual originality, and shows an artist arriving simultaneously at carnal knowledge of himself and his art.

Why has the museum refused to exhibit the painting until now? According to the exhibition’s curator, “We haven’t shown the painting not because of its subject matter or because of questions of its authenticity, but because it’s not very good. It’s slapdash. It’s clear it was done either in 1902 or 1903 in Paris or Barcelona, one of the poorest periods in Picasso’s life.”

Not very good? Slapdash? Picasso?!?

Hey, we say not all Picassos can be “masterpieces” like his celebrated portrait of Gertrude Stein!

If you haven’t heard already, tomorrow is BOOBQUAKE, and, purely in the name of science, we here at Sexy Slang urge all of our fans to participate.

What is “boobquake,” you ask? It is a scientific attempt to test an Iranian cleric’s claim that women who dress immodestly and behave promiscuously are to blame for earthquakes.

Last week, senior Iranian cleric Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi said:

“Many women who do not dress modestly … lead young men astray, corrupt their chastity and spread adultery in society, which increases earthquakes.”

To test the cleric’s “theory,” tomorrow women around the globe will “dress immodestly” to see if earthquakes result. As the self-described D-cup founder of Boobquake has said, “In the name of science, I offer my boobs.” Will you join in the effort tomorrow?

The hilarious romantic comedy “She’s Out of My League” opens today in theaters nation-wide!

Team Sexy Slang is excited about the movie for many reasons, most notably because T.J. Miller’s character, Stainer, wears our Stud Muffin t-shirt throughout much of the film (so we’ve been told).

Early reviews for “She’s Out of My League” have been great. Here’s what The Hollywood Reporter says:

“She’s Out of My League” is that rare modern screen comedy that is better than the trailers make it appear. What threatened to be yet another routine exercise in raunchiness instead turns out to be a sweet, charming, hilariously funny love story that could emerge as a sleeper hit.

“Better than the trailer makes it appear”? That’s amazing, considering the trailer is freakin’ hilarious!
